Helping to reduce environmental waste

We adopted an environmental policy because we thought our clients would both like to know they are working with a company that values our environment and that benefits them, through cost reduction in energy saving and tangible resource efficiency.

Our decisions are made on balanced business led and environmental factors. We like to use innovative technology that achieves the above goals where possible.

Carbon Emissions

We don't travel if we don't need to. But when we do have to we try and take direct flights. Our cars have teeny weeny engines so they pump less carbon in to the air.

We like to use video conferencing -our clients can then see us. Its not face to face but its as close as you can get. Its also a lot easier for all parties to be on time!

Energy Saving

Our hardware is all energy saving. Computers sleep after 10 minutes. Monitors sleep after 5 minutes. We switched our monitors to LCR to use less energy once the new technology could handle high resolution design displays. Air conditioners are also low energy usage.

Lights go off when we are not in the office.

Paper Usage

Printing is down to less than 5% of all documents, we print PDF documents and store them in our archived library where possible. Our target is to go 100% paperless - but we realise some clients need hardcopy for technical and business reasons.

Where possible our invoices are also digitally managed. We also opt in to paperless supplier billing where possible.

Any paper used comes from managed and renewable forested sources.

Chemicals

As a web based business chemicals usage printing are minimal.
