Network Rail owns and operates 17 of the busiest railway stations www.networkrail.co.uk/stations in the UK , used by over 650 million people a year. Broadreach Networks provides public Wi-Fi Internet access at all of these stations under our ReadytoSurf™ brand. We provide unsurpassed coverage of the concourse areas at each station together with coverage of selected platforms.
We are also under contract to Network Rail’s Operations division www.networkrail.co.uk/operations to provide Wi-Fi backhaul at selected stations for on-train measurement equipment. At these stations we provide full platform coverage and enhanced data throughput. Currently this service is operating at London King’s Cross, London Marylebone and Edinburgh Waverley.
