Focus on public Internet access
Providing Internet access in public locations is all we do. Broadreach does not develop and sell hardware; instead we concentrate on sourcing the best available hardware wherever we find it. We are not a small department within a large systems integrator or telecoms company – our whole organisation is structured around providing the best possible service to our end users, Location Partners and Service Partners.

Comprehensive service offering
We are the only company in the market able to offer an end-to-end service comprising on-train access, station hotspots, fixed terminals at stations, satellite, 3G/GPRS and ADSL/SDSL wide area connectivity, back-office systems for authentication, authorisation and accounting and customer support. The service offering is backed up by expertise in designing systems for rail certification, over four years of operating experience and a professional approach to project management.

Supplying the best equipment
We constantly evaluate products from leading Internet access hardware suppliers worldwide so that we can provide the best performance at the lowest price. We have recently recommended and/or installed equipment made by PointShot Wireless www.pointshotwireless.com and Colubris Networks www.colubris.com (see Technology Partners)

Optimal user experience
Our "best in class" user interface has been designed with extensive user input to make it more intuitive. The interface can easily be customised to include partner branding and links to a "walled garden" of free content, such as train timetables and on-line ticket purchasing. Our on-train service also offers centralised web filtering to prevent access to undesirable content.

Range of payment options
Our market research indicates that rail passengers demand a wide variety of payment options so we support payment by vouchers, credit/debit card access and subscription. In addition we have agreements with a large number of third party Service Providers including iPass, GoRemote, WeRoam and Trustive and we also support the bundling of Internet access charges with train tickets.
